As International Relations and Communications Manager, I work mainly on VA’s European projects and international collaborations such as Genderactionplus, Inspiring ERA and HubSweden of the Falling Walls Engage network. I also work on EU policy issues through the national reference group for Science with and for Society within the EU framework programme for research and innovation, Horizon 2020.
As a Swedish expert organisation for open science, citizen science and science communication and public engagement, VA has an important role to play in promoting and enhancing collaboration and dialogue between actors within academia, policymaking, society and business at national, European and international levels.
Science, research and innovation have no borders. Through collaboration, inclusion and knowledge exchange at different levels, we seek to achieve sustainable societal development.
